San Marzano tomatoes, a variety of plum tomoatoes, are known as some of the most delicious tomatoes in the world. Having a stronger, sweeter, and less acidic taste than the Roma tomato, San Marzano tomatoes are the only tomatoes used for true Vera Pizza Napoletana (Neapolitian Pizza). In compliance of Italian law, these tomatoes are certified with the DOP emblem.
